Always a big media event, this thing was just a two-day rain deluge. Little wind but buckets of water and flooded roads. No big deal.
The good news is it went offshore and moved north last night. Woke up early this morning to cool temps and straight offshore winds. The surf was clean, very lined up and super fun. Nothing really heavy or hollow, but pretty 2-3 foot lines, brilliant sunlight and dolphins in the water are one helluva fine way to start your day :-)
I grabbed this off one of the local cams posted by Erdman Video Systems.
It was too cool not to post. Feels like this fall may be a good one. We'll see. Enjoy this one for now.
Hasta,
MF
