Hurricane Irene 08.26.11

Updated with names 03/12/12.   Thanks for passing them along!

Sorry to the folks that got blasted and flooded.  This time it was us who avoided any damage and scored the offshores. Ususally its the other way around.

Bottom line: Palm Beach fired for days. Here's what I got out of it, other that a 10 foot double barrel at Queens that I'll certainly remember for a long time :-)

If you know any of these guys, please pass along the names so I can post them.

Email me for more info at tubeshots@aol.com.

Hasta for now,
Michael

So nice to be back in the water

Just got back from a great trip to Nicaragua with some good friends from near and far. Massive thanks to Chris, Teddy, McClymont and Spacecraft for a killer time.
Here are some of the goods. More to come later this week.

Stay tuned.

Here fishy, fishy.....

Well, this winter has been pretty dismal. After an amazing start and there simply has not much to write home about.

That said, I finally got back in the water last week, but I had a few friends along for the ride.  It was an abbreviated session to say the least.  These guys wouldn't leave us alone.  I thought the better of it, went in with all my toes still attached and shot these from the beach with a 300mm.

Does anybody know if these are these spinners or black tips?

Double click the shots to make them larger, then do it a second time.

I counted three in this one.
