Late December, 2010

The sandbars have come together at the pier in the past few weeks and its been working well. It also has been cold, really cold.

Here's a few of the recent shots from the past two weeks.  Updated on Xmas Eve.

Enjoy,
MF

38 degrees

Nothing like a massive cold front to keep the hardcore honest and the weak in standing on the beach, making excuses.  Paddling out in that kind of cold makes you realize that A) warm Florida water is damn nice and B) cold air and strong offshore winds can freeze your melon quick so keep moving.  I fucking love winter.

Early on December 6th the horizon was a steaming ocean stacked with corduroy lines.

December 7th, 2010, Game ON:

Juno Pier, mid morning:

Big Wave Dave had a bomb off the back, but couldn't make the section. Always the character, he sent the wave the One Fingered salute, just to say thanks.

Go Rich!

Delray Beach 11.14.2010

Watched Palm Beach super-maxed out the day before and I decided to head south. Good call.

Andy Crane knows who his friend is.

MF, out.
